hayrides are available for family fun at Bassetts Bridge Farm near Mansfield Hollow State Park
The Gardens at Bassetts Bridge Farm provide the following recreational activities:
  • Weekend hayrides are scheduled every Saturday and Sunday during the months of September and October. Rides are at 11:00 AM, Noon, 1:00 PM,
    2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM. The hay wagon is pulled by an antique tractor and takes visitors through open fields and shady woodlands. The ride is 45 minutes and cost $5 per person. Children under the age of two are free. A supervising adult must accompany children.
  • Private daytime hayrides are available by reservation during September and October on Friday morning at 10:30 AM and Friday afternoon at 1:30 PM. The charge is $5 per person and there is a minimum charge of $75.00 for the group.
  • Private evening hayrides are available by reservation during September and October from Monday through Sunday at 6:00 PM. After the hayride, cider and donuts are served at the edge of a warming fire. The cost is $8 per person with a minimum charge of $80.00 for the group.
